Jorge Chavez is a Cuban painter who received formal academic training at an early age. As a student, he took part in several art exhibits, where his work was always awarded and recognized.
in 1990, he was forced to leave his country due to political reasons and he then traveled to America, where he has been living in Naples for 20 years.
Once settled here, he keeps his creative work moving by painting and showing his paintings in different private art exhibits, as well as in community ones in places such as Santa Fe and Alburquerque New Mexico, and at "La Bohemia", an art gallery in Miami.
His source of inspiration: Life in all its dimensions.
